Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

God taught me. This is the covenant God in Christ has established with me. He will put his laws in my mind and write them on my heart. He will be my God, and I will be his servant. No longer will I need to be taught by a neighbor, or ask someone, Who is the LORD? No, I will know LORD personally through the Spirit of Christ living and working in me. Having everything I need for life and godliness through the power of the Gospel, I am able to live a victorious life. When people see the amazing change in my life all I can say is God taught me. When people see something different about me from the world all I can say is God taught me. And when people ask me how I overcame so much in my life all I can say is God taught me. In the secret place I pursued God and Jesus made his home in me. I went away in prayer praying constantly to my Heavenly Father and He rewarded me openly with every spiritual blessing available in Christ. All my success and victories come from God's presence in my life. Hear me out: Does the Law disagree with God's promises? No, it doesn't! If any law could give life to us, we could become acceptable to God by obeying that law. But the Scriptures say that sin controls everyone, so that God's promises will be for anyone who has faith in Jesus Christ. The Law controlled us and kept us under its power until the time came when we would have faith. In fact, the Law was to be our teacher until Christ came. Then we could have faith and be acceptable to God. But once a person has learned to have faith, there is no more need to have the Law as a teacher. All of you are God's children because of your faith in Christ Jesus. And when you were baptized, it was as though you had put on Christ in the same way you put on new clothes. Know the LORD Jesus personally today and let the his law of love teach you righteousness and truth. To be holy as he is holy. And you will say as I say, God taught me.
