Proverbs of a 40 yr. old man

The Truth keeps you free. When you start to live out the lies of sin everything becomes fleeting. The LORD is the who gives you the ability to produce wealth and to be successful. But once sin and greed get involved in business and finances, the love of money starts to be the root of all evil. Money comes as it quickly as it goes. Instead of it being a blessing it becomes a curse, making you a slave to the lender. Living under the principles of God's word and being filled with the Spirit of Christ keeps us living in the truth. Righteousness guards the man of integrity, but wickedness undermines the sinner. We are to live as free people and not use our freedom as a cover-up for evil. All wicked and sensual desires lead us away from the Truth and causes us to live in a care-free delusion. Sinful desires increase more and more but now doesn't satisfy like before. Its fleeting and becomes a bondage that we cannot free ourselves on our own. The only way to free those who have been so entangled in sin and evil is through the power of the Gospel. When we accept Jesus as LORD and Savior the Holy Spirit begins to renew our mind with the Truth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the life. The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. He is the Truth that sets you free. His life fills you and keeps you free from the power of sin and death. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Because you belong to Jesus, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. Here is a lament in Scripture, I hope speaks to you about living in the Truth. Speak Holy Spirit I am listening: Woe to them, because they have strayed from me! Destruction to them, because they have rebelled against me! I long to redeem them but they speak about me falsely. They do not cry out to me with sincere hearts. Instead, they sit on their couches and wail. They cut themselves, begging foreign gods for grain and new wine, and they turn away from me. I trained them and made them strong, yet now they plot evil against me. They do not turn to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword because of their insolent words. Amen. That was a portion of Scripture in Hosea Chapter 7. Continue to live the Truth that keeps you free from the decaying lies and judgment of this world.
