Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
The LORD sees everything you do. Wherever you go, he is watching. Evil actions are like a trap for an evil man. His own evil deeds are like an enemy who ties up the evil man. An evil man will die, because he has no discipline. He wanders because he is a fool. His evil behavior will make him into a slave. He can hide his actions from other people. But he cannot hide from God. Amen. When we conform to the patterns of this world and copy the behavior and customs of this world, we constantly live in a cycle of sin and folly. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation. We must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. A king detests wrongdoing and wicked behavior, for his rule is built on justice. Jesus is King. He died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. His Kingdom is not of this world, But seek his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. His way of doing and being right, the attitude and character of God are important for us to live before a Holy God and King. Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father but are from this world. The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.
