Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
The fear of the LORD releases the beauty of holiness. As you honor the LORD and keep his commandment's the beauty of His Holiness starts to show through you. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth. There is something so internally beautiful about a comely and quiet spirit. 1 Tim 2:9 says I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. Amen. 1 Samuel 16:18 speaks of David as a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him. There is beauty in the Holiness of God and reflects through his prized possession. Just as the fear of the LORD produces beauty, so is the opposite of sin and evil. The glutton spirit and overindulgent in evil reveals the ugliness of sin. People become lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Praise God that Christ is preparing His Bride, and she will make herself ready for His glorious appearing. Jesus gave His life for his bride his church so that He can sanctify her making her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. Many are living like the world playing the harlot when they should be receiving the Spirit of Christ to experience the beauty of Christ Righteousness. Readying themselves for the coming of Jesus to receive a people of His very own, a special bride of Christ. Rev. 19:7-9 says Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” Amen. In the parable of the virgins Jesus shared how ten virgins await a bridegroom; five have brought enough oil for their lamps for the wait, while the oil of the other five runs out. The five virgins who are prepared for the bridegroom's arrival are rewarded, while the five who went to buy further oil miss the bridegroom's arrival and are disowned. Make every effort to know Jesus and allow Him to transform you with the beauty of His Holiness. He will make us his chaste bride. He makes things beautiful in his time.
