Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

It is lawful to love everyday. To share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. When the Gentiles sin, they will be destroyed, even though they never had God’s written law. And the Jews, who do have God’s law, will be judged by that law when they fail to obey it. If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law. For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws. For the same God who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also said, “You must not murder.” So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law. So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law that sets you free. There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death. Religion that pleases God the Father must be pure and spotless. You must help needy orphans and widows and not let this world make you evil.
