Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

If you're not willing to do more than what you are being paid for you, you'll never be paid for more that you're doing. Giving is one of the laws of the universe. You've got to willingly give and graciously receive. And if you have to think before you give, you are trading and not giving. Think about this: God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. Every person should give as they are able, according to the blessing of the Lord God has given you. The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers. The godly always give generous loans to others, and their children are a blessing. Despite their desires, the lazy will come to ruin, for their hands refuse to work. If you want too much and are too lazy to work, it could be fatal. Some people are always greedy for more, but the godly love to give! Praise the LORD. Blessed are those who fear the LORD, who find great delight in his commands. Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever. Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor. The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted. Amen. Work hard and honor God with your effort. The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep.
