Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. To stay consistently strong we must do it through prayer. Putting on the armor of God daily and staying ready to fight. The enemy, temptations, and sinful flesh wait for us daily to slip up and be without our armor of prayer.
So be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be men of courage. Be strong. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. Through the Spirit of Christ actively flowing in us, we can pray effectively and sharply. The prayers of a righteous person are powerful because of the power of Christ life living in them. His presence, his interceding for us, his heart, his mind in working in us, keeps us strong in our spirit. You then, be constantly strengthened and empowered in the grace that is to be found only in Christ Jesus. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
