Weds live zoom battle prayer 4/13/23
Weds morning zoom battle prayer is on! Continuing with our theme of Let The Man Lead. We talked about men leading with strength and passion. There is a huge difference between men of this world and men of God. We are called to be strong men both physically and spiritually through the power of the Spirit of Christ strengthening us. In the morning let’s talk and share about how men lead with their word and example. As men of God we must let our yes be yes and our no be no. What does that mean? Also, we are to set the tone and be the godly example for our families, church, work, and communities.

Battle prayer notes 4/12/23
Good morning brother,
Day two topic: Men lead with their word and example.
John 13:15
For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.
Col. 3:17
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Men are to lead with there word. They’re yes be yes and no be no. We are to be examples and not shy away from hard work and maturity. Men speak about life and godliness and don’t deny Gods power. They can testify, they can receive a word from God for every season.
As children get older they start listening less and start watching more.
The example of sacrifice is powerful.
We are to model Christ for our families through love and example. Not forcing behavior but letting people see Christ change you.
Someone is always watching you.
Let’s be available for God to use us to speak truth.
Men desires respect like we need oxygen. Men need to be respected.
In 1 Thessalonians 4:11 we are given this charge, “Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands” (NIV). Contrary to cultural aspirations, being a Christian is not about being rich, famous, progressive, vogue, or popular. We should desire to be relevant, but, as James 3:13 points out, “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom” (NIV). It is our humility, good deeds, and wisdom that will win the world’s hearts.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Psalms 105:1-2
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.”
Hebrews 12:14
We tend to exaggeration and often lie. We need to not add and just say yes or no.
Walk in truth and allow God to do what he does.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3
“Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs. Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense.”
Proverbs 10:12-13 NIV

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door! Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise you will be condemned. James 5:7-12
God’s divine power has given us everything we need for life and for godliness. This power was given to us through knowledge of the one who called us by his own glory and integrity. Through his glory and integrity he has given us his promises that are of the highest value. Through these promises you will share in the divine nature because you have escaped the corruption that sinful desires cause in the world. Because of this, make every effort to add integrity to your faith; and to integrity add knowledge; to knowledge add self-control; to self-control add endurance; to endurance add godliness; to godliness add Christian affection; and to Christian affection add love. If you have these qualities and they are increasing, it demonstrates that your knowledge about our Lord Jesus Christ is living and productive. If these qualities aren’t present in your life, you’re shortsighted and have forgotten that you were cleansed from your past sins. (2 Peter 1:3-9 GWT)
God keeps his word and so should we.
We should not compromise our faith by not keeping our word.
What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”
James 4:1-3
Stand up for the truth and even in the face of offense and evil. Ask God to help you say Father forgive for they know not what they do.
Thank you for another great day of Zoom Battle Prayer.
