Oh To Be Wise-Meditations

Jesus the battle in this life is exhausting. I have more sweat than tears. My enemies smell my fear and want to take advantage of me. I feel pressed in on every side and feel alone as I fight for my right to exist. Grab a sword with me Jesus and come back to back with me. Evil wants to sift me like wheat and your my only hope. My victory is in you but all day long I fight with rebellion in me. I'm surrounded by evil and yet evil in me surrounds me. I am conflicted and need your Holy Spirit. It is my strength for battle.

Lord, battle with those who battle with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Lift up your spears, both large and small, against those who chase me. Tell me, “I will save you.” Psalms 35:1‭, ‬3
