Oh To Be Wise Meditations

One of Job's friends suggested that his hardship was the result of sin and that it was meant for discipline and reproof. However God declared that Job was "blameless and upright." Trials are not always meant for discipline and reproof, but God will use them to grow us. We cannot supernaturally explain the earthly things that happen to us. Is it because we are being tested by God? Or is it the enemy of our souls questioning our love for God? Could it be just the foolishness of the world and being caught in the wrong place at the wrong time? Trials and tribulations don't come with a signature but it does come written with your address. What is significant is that God says He uses them to grow us. No matter what season your in God will allow the weather of this world to be a factor to your daily forecast. We cannot control the wind, the waves, and clouds from storming over us. Stay in a safe dry state of mind and find shelter in the Lord. Let God use the water and wind to prepare good soil in your heart and mind. He will soon cause the sun of righteousness to peek through the dark clouds and grow you with His Marvelous Light.
