Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

The Lord invites me to partake in his work everyday. When I cut my withering grass I am helping him care for the earth. When I feed my animals I am helping him give the animals there due meat. When I work hard at my job I help the Lord provide the increase. And when I care for my family and friends, yes even my enemies, I help the Lord fill the earth with his love. Like a parent and an excited young child riding in a go-kart, and the child thinking they are driving but in reality the parent is pressing the gas and steering. So is God giving us the opportunity to share in his holiness and just enjoy being his child. Earthly fathers discipline their children for a short time, doing the best they know how. But God disciplines us for our good, so that we may partake in His holiness. You have many plans but God directs your steps. Like a humble child lets live out the high calling of Christ knowing it is God who actually does it in us. Give him the glory and we will be transformed by it. We are his image bearers reflecting the glory of Jesus.
