Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Many people are content walking into eternity without God. Trusting that the gravity of sin will not lead them to a total abyss. I can't imagine life without God, it would be like a total darkness of the soul. Where the stars do not give it's light, nor does the sun and moon either. Why is it so hard to let go of this life and trust it to God? Jesus gave his life so he could walk hand in hand with us through eternity, God and humanity physically reunited. Without God though we cease to exist. We don't even amount to stardust, just an outer darkness that cannot be humanly explained. Trust in the ressurection of Christ, he knows the way to life.
