Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Stop your striving, recognize that Jesus is Lord! He is exalted over the nations and over all the earth! Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. All riches and wealth come from you; you rule everything by your strength and power; and you are able to make anyone great and strong. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. I will announce to the nations, The LORD is King! The world stands firm, never to be shaken, and he will judge its people with fairness. Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! Let all creation rejoice before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising Him from the dead.
