Fatherless. To be fatherless is to not have a living father. Also not knowing or having a legally responsible father. So many people go through their lives without a father. Either by premature death, abandonment or injustice. Not having fathers has been a big lost to many communities, let alone the family. We live in a sinful world and what God wanted with the first humans on earth is different what we see now even today. Sin has broken up many families. Not just infidelity or pride, but death itself. When a father dies its devastating to a family no matter the age. Fathers are a representative of our Heavenly Father in heaven. It is a huge responsibility God has called men to. What men have failed to do God will always take up. Our God, from his sacred home takes care of orphans and protect widows. The LORD defends the rights of orphans and widows. He cares for foreigners and gives them food and clothing. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. When Jesus returned to heaven he left the model of his church for people to belong to. It is an extension of the Kingdom of God on earth. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Who is that, it is Christ Jesus our Lord. Only in Jesus do orphans and widows have there homes. Even if your father and mother should desert you, The Lord will take you in. Not just through the body of Christ does one become fathered, but you have a real father in heaven that knows your name. He calls you his child and you call Him Abba.
