Sexual sin is a cancer to the soul. It is an uncontrolled growth of abnormal desires, like evil spiritual cells in your soul. This cancer develops when your spirit's normal control mechanism stops working and sin and the flesh take over. Old habits do not die and instead grow out of control, forming new abnormal desires within you. These new extra spiritual cells will form a mass of spiritual tissue called tumors, this growth of sin in your life can even show its consequence on the physical body. Also, sexual sin can be like leukemia in which it does not form tumors in your life, but spreads through soul and spirit destroying to the point of joint and marrow. Meaning unholy desires that permeate in everything you do. Avoid immorality. Don't be immoral in matters of sex. That is a sin against your own body in a way no other sin is. Filthy thoughts turn into shameful things done with the body. Christ died to save a person's whole nature, both body and soul. A person is not free to do as they like with their own body. It belongs to Christ and they must use it to honor God in the way he wants. Sexual sin is a cancer to the soul and degrades the body which is to be a refurbished jar of clay filled with Gods presence. The outside of a cup if exposed to rust and decay, will eat away until it gets to whats inside the cup. Jesus died to give us this gift of Holy Spirit in us. Sexual sin will wear away at your soul and weaken your relationship with Christ. Real cancer does kill the physical body, and sexual sin is like cancer to the soul. God's word is alive and powerful! It is sharper than any double-edged sword. His word can cut through our spirits and souls and through our joints and marrow, until it discovers the desires and thoughts of our hearts. Allow the Living Word of God to protect and defend against this spiritual cancer trying to grow in you. Study 1 Cor. 6:18
