Oh To Be Wise Meditations

An unreliable messenger stumbles into trouble, but a reliable messenger brings healing. Yes, A messenger you can trust is just as refreshing as cool water in summer. We are Christ's messengers both in word and in deed. What message are we relaying to the present world around us? In the armor of God we wear shoes that are ready to spread the Good News that gives peace. As Scripture says, "How beautiful are the feet of the messengers who announce the Good News." Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. LORD, let be a reliable messenger speaking the the truth of your love clearly. A living epistle known and read by all to the glory of your name. I have my shoes of peace on as I share God's message of reconciliation. Paul says, You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. May God's word increase and human pride decrease.
