Oh To Be Wise Meditations

LORD, you said in scripture, don't be ashamed of me and my message among these unfaithful and sinful people! If you are, the Son of Man will be ashamed of you when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. There is a generation of those who are pure in their own eyes and yet unwashed of their filth. Jesus I need to live out my faith in the way that pleases you. And not deny you by the way I live. It is so easy to name drop your name on things, but its another thing to actually not take it in vain. The world is content in name only as long as you do not judge one another. But your standard of holiness demands my attention to detail. I cannot look over the commands of God to please humanity's sinful desires. To live ashamed is no way to honor your work on the Cross, and in my life. LORD, you planted us, and we have taken root. We have grown and produced fruit. You are ever on our lips but may you never be far from our conscience.
