Oh To Be Wise Meditations
There is hard work to relationship. It is very easy to fake a relationship, but when its challenge that's when you see if its real or not. The same with relationship with Christ. You can fake people but you can't fake God. When trial comes will your faith hold up? Your relationship with Jesus has to be solid so you can stand, and not just by word but by deed. God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The LORD knows those who are his,” and “All who belong to the LORD must turn away from evil.” Therefore, the proud may not stand in your presence, for you hate all who do evil. I need authentic relationship and not fast food which is so easy to settle for. You can tell authentic food when you taste and you know the lesser of it will never satisfy. Jesus, help me to build up and seek authentic relationship with you. Anyone who hears and obeys these teachings of Jesus is like a wise person who built a house on solid rock, a solid rock of relationship.
