Oh To Be Wise Meditations
I saw a young person honoring a dead family member through a t-shirt. It said RIP rest in peace to an important person in their life. People die everyday and each one with their own story and with people that loved them. The only memory keeping them alive is those who that person inspired and cared for. I though about this concept with Jesus. If we were to wear a t-shirt to coumarate Christ life on earth it would say RIP Risen In Power. Honor Him not only in death but that He is risen! We rejoice as Christian's knowing that Jesus died but was raised to life on the third day. So we have that promise that we will be raised to life after death. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
