Oh To Be Wise Meditations

God uses imperfect people to do a perfect work for himself and for his Kingdom. Think about that statement. I just heard a godly speaker share that. A number of scriptures jump to mind like: And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. God knows humanity is frail and weak, full of sin and destruction. But his glorious plan to the redeemed to bring to glory to his name. Look at the Duet. 15:21, but if it has any defect, such as lameness or blindness, or any serious defect, you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord your God. Exodus 12:5, Your lamb shall be an unblemished male a year old; you may take it from the sheep or from the goats. Jesus was the perfect lamb of God. In him there is no blemish, spot or wrinkle. No imperfection can be found in his life and ministry. This so He could be a perfect Mediator for God and man. Through Christ perfection He can now work in imperfect humans and restore his creation! How wonderful and beyond comprehension, is the knowledge of God in Christ. In an imperfect world God can still restore imperfect people through his perfect Son. Jesus is able to save even to the uttermost. Make good even out of humanity's depravity. Jesus took on the imperfect flesh of man and condemned sin in the flesh. He now is raised as a perfect flesh of a man, a symbol of new creation that is for all mankind. The Spirit of Christ is making the renewing the hearts and removing the condemnation of sin in our lives. Holy Spirit is working in imperfect people and make them perfect with his love. Fulfilling all righteousness in us and though we will never be truly perfect in this world. Jesus is our perfection and that is what we put our hope in.
