Oh To Be Wise Meditations
God will triumph over all the powers of evil.The earth will be illuminated with God's glory. The Gospel will go to the ends of the earth and the forces of hell will not prevail against it. Disease and sickness will not last. Poverty and suffering will not be forever. Man will not have last word, God will. The last words Jesus echoed on the Cross, it is finished, is still rumbling heaven and earth. Heaven and earth will pass away. But His word will never pass away. The end of the age will come, and the finished work of Christ is the evidence of this powerful truth. Thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes. Lord, help me to be alert at all times. I pray that you give me the power to escape everything that is about to happen and to stand in front of the Son of Man. Meditate Rev. 18:1
