Oh To Be Wise Meditations

How many people did Jesus walk by that had many needs but it was not time for them yet? He was on a mission from the Father, and He only did what the Father wanted to be done. It was about his time and purpose on earth, Jesus only did what the Father told Him. Let that sink in....Indeed our work in the LORD is in vain if we fail to pray. God has soo much for us to do but its in His Time not ours. We have to be in constant connection to the Trinity. Praying in the Spirit, In the Name of Jesus, Living like a son or daughter of our Heavenly Father keeps us in step with God's plan. And there are intricate levels to this masterpiece the LORD has established before the foundations of the world. We would be foolish to think that we can control the wind of the Spirit. To try to force the hand of God instead of just being his hands and feet. This is a challenge though and is not easy to live in the Spirit, let alone pray in the Spirit. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another. Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. This is from Gal. 6:1 but notice those who live in the Spirit. Are we living in the Spirit? And if we are we are to act a certain way. In this instance to restore a person gently who has gone off the right path. The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. LORD Jesus help us to see what you see, and hear what you hear, do what you do, so our work is not in vain. The Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise. Let us have that same mindset as we live in the Spirit.
