Oh To Be Wise Meditations

All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful in all His words and kind in all His actions. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but loving devotion surrounds him who trusts in the LORD. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God? Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Staying in constant prayer that God may make you worthy of his calling. And that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.
