Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The one who lives in the shelter of the Most High rests in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, you are my friend, my fortress, where I am safe. My protector and defender, my shelter and my personal savior. Your name is above all names and it casts it shadow over my fiery trialed heart. The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. I know my redeemer lives and that provides comfort and peace during the storms of life. How wonderful are the good things you keep for those who honor you! Everyone knows how good you are, how securely you protect those who trust you. Yes, How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. In the morning, O LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I lay my plea before You and wait in expectation. While I wait for you I find confidence in singing about the power of your love. I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.
