Transmission issues. I keep having transmission issues in my life. Over time and one after another, I am not able to go forward or backward. Stalled, left on the side of the road of life. Its so hard to stay in road with other drivers and be a man of faith always. So many times I ignore the lights and sounds of my spirit groaning. Even my flesh cries out for the living God. But I still go neutral drifting away from God, away from his provision. A transmission in a car is one of the most important components of a vehicle. It’s what moves the power from the engine to the wheels. We need God to help us with the transmission in our hearts. To move forward and not backwards, and if backwards its only to pick up the pieces. We have tried in our own strength manual transmission. But we seem to always mess up the clutch and gearbox. The Holy Spirit wants us to go automatic transmission trusting in our submission to Christ. And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding. For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come. A faulty transmission in our hearts will keep us from what we have experienced by faith. Why not count the cost, address the transmission, and get back to where you need to be, which is the LORD's Presence. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting. Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.
