Oh To Be Wise Meditations
I see a river of life flowing from the mountain of God. It rushing towards me like a rushing wind, feeling the refreshing blow of Holy Spirit on my spirit. Even in my dry and weary day I can have spirit and life surround me. Splashing my hands in deep waters as prayers to God well up within me. There is a river whose streams bring joy to the city of God, the holy place where the Most High lives. The river of God is always available for the believer in Christ. We need it constantly bubbling within us and through us. Yes, the LORD takes care of the earth and water its, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for He has ordered it so. He drenches the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. He softens the earth with showers and blesses its abundant crops. He crowns the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy. The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy! Jesus, you will keep our faith rich and fertile in you. Watered in Spirit with much fruit of your word in me. The River of Life Himself is flowing in me.
