Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Run Free! I see chains being loose, shackles being broken off that held sinners to death and destruction. Feel the yoke of bondage off your neck, the tight cuffs released from your wrists. Move your legs freely away from that stronghold post that has been holding you back from Gods purpose for your life. Are you a slave to sin? Christ has won your freedom on the Cross! When the Lord chooses slaves, they become his free people. And when he chooses free people, they become slaves of Christ. God paid a high price for you, so don’t be enslaved by the world. You were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own. Glorify God with your body and with your spirit, which are God's. Don't you know that you are slaves of anyone you obey? You can be slaves of sin and die, or you can be obedient slaves of God and be acceptable to him. The wicked promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption, since people are enslaved to whatever defeats them. But the forgiven sinner has escaped the corruption of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Go, run free! Go and sin no more! Christ has given you Gospel peace for shoes. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. So run with purpose in every step. Say in your heart, "I will run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding." Yes, run freely in my heart and life oh Spirit of Christ!
