Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Everything has its own life and being. It’s own mind and heart. The tiniest of creatures have there own mind and being. Even to the very virus God has made all things with a purpose and will. All is subject to him though and him alone. No matter the haywire he has built in, the fail safe is in his hand. I dare even say he is the LORD of cause and effect. Look at the largest of creatures and to the smallest of creation. All proclaim the handiwork of his hands by his signature free will. How can an insect know it’s purpose and duty? How can oceans know where to stop and storms when move forward? Even the lion knowing when to eat it's prey. He is the God of power and wonder. Becoming both the lion and the lamb. We are the only creature subject to right and wrong. All creation suffers because of our sin and destruction the human race has caused. We need a lion to stand against the prowling enemy within our midst. We need a Shepherd for the soul for we are lost in this dangerous world he created without him. He is the cause and we are the effect in this world. For though he wounds, he also bandages. He strikes, but his hands also heal. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the LORD’s, and he has set the world in order.
