Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Look how constant prayer is shaping you, It changes your heart more than the actual situation your in. It's conforming you to the way Jesus would do things. Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so also shall we bear the likeness of the heavenly man. They go from strength to strength, until each appears before God in Zion.
