Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

Forever Young. I want to be forever young. Do you really want to live forever? The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away. When people die, their strength is gone. They breathe their last, and then where are they? Some are like water, some are like the heat. Some are a melody and some are the beat. Sooner or later they all will be gone. It's so hard to get old without a cause. I don't want to perish like a fading horse. Youth's like diamonds in the sun and diamonds are forever. Why don't we stay young? So many adventures given up today. So many songs we forgot to play. So many dreams swinging out of the blue. Oh Jesus let it come true! I hear you say to me LORD: Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create New Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and delight in my people. And the sound of weeping and crying will be heard in it no more. “No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life. No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only the cursed will die that young! Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil, for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
