Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Woke up on a mission. Nothing can distract. Things may not go my way but I will keep on to the task. I will keep pressing on. What is my mission by the way? To know Christ more. To cease the day no for my on selfish desires, but seek one holy desire which is to know Jesus my LORD more and more fully. Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God. Yes, I am on a mission of faith to truly know my God in holy reverence and fear. As an obedient child, I will not conform to the evil desires I had when I lived in ignorance. But just as he who called me is holy, so I will be holy in all I do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” Since I call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, I will live out my time as foreigner in this world in reverent fear. For I know that God paid a ransom to save me from the empty life I inherited from my ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. I am on a mission to glorify my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ!
