Oh To Be Wise Meditations
I see a child of faith running past the approval of skeptics. Past the sage of this world. Even running past it’s earthly parents. The child of faith is running to the Voice of His Father. His Creator. Every human gets that call from there Creator and Father, but many suppress it with their pride. Jesus felt that call in the temple at an early age for us to emulate. We all have our earthly parents, our guardians that care take for us. But that call of the Wild and Supernatural, that call of Meaning that only comes from God our Father who art in Heaven. Hallow be thy name! Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. I hear Jesus say: Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in. We must take the time and listen to what our Heavenly Father is asking and not what the world is asking us, what our flesh is asking us. Every person is in this world is a child of faith, even the skeptic and the atheist. If anyone comes the Father through Jesus they will find real life and purpose. Like a child that finds its origins in the father so do we children of faith find our origins in our Heavenly Father. Run to the Father oh child of faith. Find yourself in Him. God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
