Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Joy to the world! This is the season to rejoice and again I say rejoice. The Lord has come!

Let earth receive her King; let every heart prepare him room. And let heaven and nature sing! Who is this King of glory? The LORD of Heaven’s Armies, he is the King of glory. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter into our hearts. Listen as the angel say, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. The Savior yes, the Messiah, the Lord has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” Joy came as a babe in this world, humanity held God with there own hands. Now Jesus has opened to us the gates of righteousness, that we may enter through them and give thanks to the LORD for the Gospel Salvation.
