Oh To Be Wise Meditations
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. Amen. We need to ask God for wisdom daily. He is the Creator of everything and knows how good overcomes evil. Many times we trust in man's wisdom because it comes with feeling and passion. But the truths of God are direct and honest. Its the invisible qualities of God that makes His ways and wisdom so much better than our flesh and pride. For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. If we seek his will in all we do, he will show us which path to take. Wisdom should lead us to righteousness and not sin and death. Morality and truth have to go together. The truth of Gods word is so holy and good. Everything in the Scriptures is God's Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live. True wisdom is learning how to live righteously before God in a wicked and evil world.
