Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Humility requires courage, courage to stand down and wait for the truth. God has his ways of revealing truth from error, if only we would be humble enough to wait on the Lord. We assume people will think poorly of us if we admit we do not know all the facts or the best way to move forward. We would do worse by making important decisions with misinformation. Humility has an appeal all on its own, and God honors those who fear the Lord. Along this path of courage is wealth, honor, and life. But arrogance will bring your downfall as pride comes with humiliation. Be humble and you will be respected.
