Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
We should be careful with money. Money is God’s gift, so we should use our money wisely. We should not risk our money on foolish schemes. We should not waste it on a bet. And we should not help jealous people who demand our money. We should help poor people with our money. But we should choose carefully whom we help. And we should decide carefully how to help them. Asking God to guide us so we are not lazy with our money. We need to work in order to look after money as well and not be lazy about other gifts that God provides to us. Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to LORD, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food from his provision. Give an ear to the Holy Spirit and listen so that you may live. Jesus has made an everlasting covenant with us, a faithful love promised to us long before the world began. Those who trusts in their riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish as a branch. A wealthy green foliage provided by the true Vine Himself Jesus. We are his branches and our roots are in Jesus and not in the love of money. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some people want money so much they have given up their faith and caused themselves a lot of pain.
