Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Your new life in Christ flows from a heart of worship. You cannot muster enough strength within you to serve the LORD and do his will. To grow true godliness, it has to come from the personal presence of God. You cannot get that from a song or from a certain verse. Its desiring truth in your inward parts and allowing God to teach you wisdom in that secret place. Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the LORD, and keep their promises even when it hurts. Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever. Yes, worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness.
