Be ready to be used. God works in mysterious ways and is looking to show himself strong through you. If we say we want to be used but our lives are not showing it. We are like a pool in someone's house, a car in someone's yard, or a treadmill in a room. If they are not prepped and ready for use its purpose will wear and tear from idleness. If put off to the corner and not prepped, these things no one will ever use even though they are useful. These are physical things, how much more our hearts and minds need to be ready for God's use and service. How many opportunities have been wasted because maintenance was neglected. Because repair was not expedited. Every day that passes without the constant transforming power of Holy Spirit in our lives, is an opportunity wasted to be used by God. Jesus knows how to use our weaknesses for his strength, if only we make preparation to be used by Him. Keep alert. Be firm in your faith. Stay brave and strong. Do everything in love. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.
