Peace be still is what we should be pursuing in our lives. Allowing Holy Spirit to bring the inner calm that comes from walking with Jesus daily. Letting Him be the controlling factor in our hearts deciding and settling questions that arise. To this peace indeed we were called as members in one body of believers. Show your thankfulness to God by learning and training yourself to be still and know that He is God. To quiet the noise around you and hear the influence of Holy Spirit. If your not taking the time to be still and meditate on the word of God; you will be frazzled when temptation and trials come. We live in such a fast pace world where everything is at your finger tips. Even food that we need to survive can be nuked in a minute for our pleasure. What's more important and vital than anything else is Gods presence and guidance. Yes, His provision and love. We cannot rush this and we cannot force his hand. Its in his time and purpose. Our job is grow in godliness in his patient love. To learn to kill the flesh and live in Spirit. Easier said than done, but all things are possible in Christ Jesus. A quiet strength is what the LORD wants to give. A peaceful life is what He wants us to lead. A time will come when all will be scattered and you will be left all alone. But you are not really alone, because the Father is with you. Jesus has told us certain things must take place, and He told us this so we would have peace in Him. Here on earth we will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because He has overcome the world. His Peace has overcome the world, LORD help us to live in it always even to the end of the age.
