Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
Don't just be a man of your word, be a man of God's word. Yes, be a person who expects God to follow through on his promises. A person who relies on Christ for everything and believes that He is trustworthy and true. The LORD looks for people that are after his own heart. You may do good in keeping the commandments since a youth, but disregarding justice and the love of God, these are the things you should do without neglecting the others. Jesus not only kept the commandments from his youth. He also gave everything He had and gave it all to the poor in spirit. So, be a man of the Living Word. Never forget the things of the Spirit that The LORD has taught you. Store His commands in your heart for they will add length to your days, years and peace to your life. I look at the faithless with disgust, because they care nothing for your word and only honor theirs. No one who waits for You will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced.
