Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
Be ever on your guard against a grudging and contentious spirit. Do everything without complaining and arguing for God is working in you to make you willing and able to obey him. Then you will be the pure and innocent children of God. You live among people who are crooked and evil, but you must not do anything they can say is wrong. Try to shine as lights among the people of this world. We have the message that gives life and people read it best when Christ lives it out through us. The Holy Spirit is the one who gives life! Human strength can do nothing. The words that Jesus has spoken to us are from that life-giving Spirit. Stay in a constant relationship with Christ and you will guard your heart from a grudging and contentious spirit.
