Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

Much of success lies in discernment, having the ability to make wise choices. Its not always about working harder but also smarter as well. Think about this: A decision is a judgment. It is a choice between alternatives. It is rarely a choice between right and wrong. It is at best a choice between almost right and probably wrong. But more often a choice between two courses of action, neither of which is probably more nearly right than the other. This is why I say we need to work smarter. It takes the ability to use biblical principles to guide us in the decision making process. It takes the ability to see beyond the immediate moment and make decisions with long term implication. Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense.
