Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

The Christian life is a two way mirror. We can't see God but he can see us. He tells us that he can see us and that we should live as though he were present because he is. When we lie, he knows. When we look, he knows. When we cheat, he knows. When we are being dishonest, he knows. When we are being selfish or greedy or prideful or materialistic or lustful, he knows. He knows it all. Remember that the LORD examines you and knows you by name. He knows when you are resting or when you are working, and from heaven He discovers your thoughts. He scrutinizes your life and is familiar with all of your ways. Even before a word is on your tongue the LORD knows it completely. The LORD knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile. Day by day the LORD takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever. Although you have never seen Christ, you love him. You don't see him now, but you believe in him. You are extremely happy with joy and praise that can hardly be expressed in words as you obtain the salvation that is the goal of your faith. Though you can't see Him with the naked eye. You can see Jesus through the eyes of faith, your mirror of the soul. He goes before you and follows you, placing his hand of blessing on your head. Say this: I will be glad and rejoice in Your loving devotion, for You have seen my affliction; You have known the anguish of my soul. Into your hand I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, O LORD, faithful God. Yes. the Christian life is a two way mirror. The LORD sees you, do you see Him? Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
