Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
Give good advice. Give good guidance. The best way to do that is to steep your mind in Scripture so that you can give good counsel to those who ask you. Its the godly that give good advice to their friends; but the wicked lead there friends astray. And though good advice lies deep within the heart, it will take a person with understanding to draw it out. All you can do is pour out what God has been pouring into you. Keeping your heart pure by living in relationship to the Living Word. Remember, the person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. Yes Jesus, lead us to those who need godly advice. And may we be spiritually mature enough to give it in someone's time of need.
