Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
We need more rocks. More people that are as solid as a rock in their pursuit of God in Christ. Being an example of constant faith to encourage others who are weak, who are in doubt, or are suffering. Praise God rocks of faith are great for rivers of living water to flow through and their being. They are strong enough to hold and not go with the currents of worldly evil desires. They move with the flow of Holy Spirit and against culture and societies complacencies. Holding on to the word of faith as they encourage others to stay together in unity, in peace and in love with one another and in Christ. It's a gift to have faith in God. We need more rocks of faith to set a standard and a wall against sin and evil. Rocks that will line up one by one with the Great Rock Himself Jesus our LORD. He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is! He stops up the sources of evil streams to bring what is hidden to light. This is where can wisdom be found and where understanding dwells. Yes, as we become rocks of faith we dam up evil in its tracks allowing God to reveal true wisdom and justice. Let the words of Jesus inspire you: And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
