Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
Holy, holy, holy, LORD All-Powerful! The earth is filled with your glory. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. Exalt the LORD our God! Bow low before his feet, for he is holy! The sound of praise coming from the throne is so awesome and majestic! All I can utter to blend in with awestruck and powerful angels is the word watermelon. A word I learned in high school chorus when you have lost your tone or forgot the words. I tried saying holy but I can't hear myself because of the thunder of God's worthy praises! All of sudden, silence hits the throne room leaving me alone with a loud squeal of Holy!!!! Jesus, the king of glory has come in with a repentant soul over his shoulders. He calls out to the angels, rejoice with me I have found my lost sheep! Yes, again I say rejoice! Rejoice over this one sinner who repents and lets me make my home in his heart. The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands! The throne room erupts with praise for just one repentant sinner to come home. Join in with me now. Let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy. Sing praises to God and to his name! Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the LORD, rejoice in his presence!
