All wicked actions are sin, but not every sin leads to death right away. Keep this in mind though that our next sin could be our last sin. There is sin that leads to physical death, God will not be mocked. We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. But many sin so freely feeling no consequence because of the freedom we have been given from Old Testament law. Not realizing the law of God still needs to be written on hearts. The penalty for sin is still death. It is by the grace of God that we are not blown away instantly by his judgment, even when his very presence is inside us. The blood of Jesus covers our outward sin and shame but the heart is still in wanting. If our hearts are not renewed daily and growing stronger away from the pull of sin. There is no more remedy for sin and death. Think about this, how do you know if your good at sinning? If it no longer hurts you anymore. If your no longer wounded or broken by it. You don't even struggle anymore as the devils wraps his seductive coils around you. You have quenched the Spirit's fire so much, you have water downed the Gospels power so much, that you are apathetic and sitting in fiery judgment. Your only next logical step is rebellion against God. Holiness is to be pursued, those who are pursuing know that it is from faith to faith. Too many people keep the law of God to show they are holy. We need the law of Christ in our hearts more than the outer show of man. To be holy as God is holy, we need to keep sin far from us, especially the pride of life, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes. Yes, keep sin and death far from our hearts and minds. Study Acts 5:3-4
