Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

It's exciting to watch things grow. Don't miss it. Look, a little leaf is forming. Look, how much taller it's getting. I saw a lawn ornament recently that just said the word grow. It even had lights that shined its letters so brightly. It touched my heart because that is truly what's happening in gardens, in ministry, in work, and in life. We are constantly growing, but the beauty of it is that its all different levels and that's ok. We are all at different seasons, different patterns, and different purposes at the same time. But it is God that does the growing. His supernatural power grows everything in his time. Those with baby leaf's growing praise the LORD. Those with stout branches forming praise the LORD. And those with old leaves being pruned to make room for new growth praise the LORD! Papyrus reeds grow healthy only in a swamp, and if the water dries up, they die sooner than grass. Such is the destiny of all who forget God; so perishes the hope of the godless. It's exciting to be in the place of where grow happens. Without God everything stunted and decay is soon to follow. His presence is life and growth, without the Holy Spirit nothing is sustained. For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being. So stand still in his presence and know that He is God. Listen closely to the words coming from his mouth. Yes, I hear it Jesus, grow.
