Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

Try this physical exercise of faith. Do as many push ups as you can and then get back up without using your knees. It takes a little more effort to get up that way but its a good example of keeping laziness away from our prayers. It is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Push up after push up in the prayer of faith we know that our spiritual muscle is being torn and strength is being rebuilt. These arms, these legs, they are made to lift heavy burdens and to battle evil daily. But most off all they are made for worship to the LORD our God. He Reigns! It takes inner strength to have a real faith in God. Through prayer and supplication in the Spirit we can build up our inner man. When trials come, and they will come, your prayers will be strengthen by your faith that you pursued in the secret place with Christ. If we get lazy and nonchalant about our sins. Our desires to do push ups of prayer will decrease, slowing falling on our knees giving up. Praise God though that from our scrapped knees we can still pray and build up our faith again. It doesn't matter how many push ups you can do, what matters is the build up of the muscle of faith you have been doing in the secret place. For the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Look our Savior's arms of faith, he does much push ups of prayer daily interceding for his people.
