Oh to be in love. To be in full bloom. Two hearts becoming one flesh. So much passion, so much desire found in the love between a man and woman. Becoming a beautiful submission of marriage out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure. Oh LORD, place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it would be utterly scorned. I hear you say to me my LORD the lover of my soul: Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are ever before Me.
